The following information explains our use and practices of private information on familytogether.com.

Personal Information

In order to join FamilyTogether, we will ask for your first name, last name, a username, email address, password and a question/answer pair. This information is used to enroll you as a member of the site. When creating a site on FamilyTogether, we will also ask for last name of the family and a unique name for your site. Your email address will not be added to any mailing lists. FamilyTogether does not disclose any of your information to 3rd parties.

Children 13 years of age or younger

Children who are 13 years need their parent's permission to become members.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file that gets placed on your computer so that a website can remember who you are. Cookies are used by FamilyTogether to keep track of your session. No personal information is stored in the cookie.

Accessing, Updating, and Deleting your Information

You can update your preferences by signing in to FamilyTogether and clicking the 'My Account' tab.

Address Book

Contacts in your address book that are shared can be edited by any member of the family. When you add a contact that isn't shared with any family, you will be the only one to see it in your address book.

Private Content

Unless asked to, FamilyTogether does not view any of the content on your family site that is marked 'private'. Private content is only accessible by the members of your family that are enrolled in the website. Membership is not required for content that is not private; it is open to the public.

Passwords

Remember to never give out your password and account information to anyone. FamilyTogether will never contact you asking for your password.
